I'd spent the morning in denim cut offs but felt a bit exposed for jaunt to meet friends so changed into m&s denim skirt. I LOVE m&s - decided that fairly recently. Quality is excellent and friendly to purse and more so you can find things that are possibly aimed at an older crowd but mixed with own clothes work well and little chance of bumping into friend wearing same. Only negative is sizes come up rather large and finding smaller sizes is quite hard (they either sell like hot cakes or tend to stock less which I suspect may be case). Reading that back I want to reassure people it's not one of those skinny minny moments where office stick says she can't have a cake as she's on a diet, it's just true that there sizes are huge! T-shirt is also m&s and is classic. We all love a good white tee don't we. The belt is old can't recall and not being much of a belt fan I only have 3 I like - this one being one of them.
Alas we had to leave the picnic and head home to get ready for friends 30th. I decided to wear this Paul and Joe silk dress but I don't actually like it. I keep trying to (really hard) but generally get as far as front door then think 'no, can't go out in it' and change. This time I made it out and despite a very cute mod boy coming up to compliment my dress (how bizarre)I'm still not convinced. Had to wear flats which did not quite go due to killing feet night before with heels.

I always take a look in M&S when I'm passing and see something nice, but usually talk myself out of buying it (only to regret it later).
That blue jumpsuit I sent you was a classic case in point.
Thinking of buying this to wear to Mary Ann's wedding - what do you think?

I do like it and think you could look quite virginal gothic in it. When is Wedding though? Concern would be if it's Summer and the material. I actually think I would like it more in colder months teamed with black tights. Also honey - you ain't the bride but not sure if the 'don't wear white/lace to someone else's wedding' rule still applies??
