27th May 2010

Homage to Miss_M and her lastest fashion influence - Charlotte Gainsbourg. Keeping it relatively simple with pumps, leggings and t-shirt but can't resist bit of something extra with the fishnet panels and sparkly earings. End result is rather ballerina. Good outfit choice for warm/cold weather at moment. Blow dry urgently required - been in Alice Bands all week.

Outfit is top to toe Top Shop including Kate Moss T-Shirt. I don't tend to indulge in her range but this t-shirt is gorgeous colour and texture with lovely little pocket detail. Note on KM - beautiful evening wear this season. The powder blue chiffon dress and silk green vinatge-esque jumsuit are stunning but i can't let myself part with £150 for a mossy look unfortunately.

22nd May 2010

I'm very cross with myself for massive gap again. I basically had a crisis of confidence and decided that I actually look pretty dull - so even though I have no followers why was I bothering to do this? My best friend Miss M gave me a talking too - no pampering but just told me to stop being silly and get back on it.

We've just had the hottest weekend of the year and a BBQ invite gave me perfect opportunity to wear this jumpsuit. Amusing exhange with Bunny when I emerged; "you realise people will stare at you in that". He was wearing a pastel pinkshorts suit at the time..........

My handbag is another vintage find and I adore it - silver woven basket with central clasp opening and plastic handle. Sandals are old top shop that I dug out from the 'summer suitcase' - was exciting rummaging through that after 6months or so.

2nd May 2010 - it's my birthday!

A surprise outing to the Ivy from Bunny. I decided to wear Jonathan Kelsey shoes even though I can't walk in them - fine on flat surfaces but streets of London not ideal. They're beautiful item though that I had lusted after for some time - I think I went back to Selfridges 3 times to try on before realising I had fallen in shoe love so had to buy. Basically rocking black with chanel red lips.

30th April 2010 - Queens Day

Blow Dry because I'm worth it = Check, Pretty Floral Dress to take me from day to night = Check, Layers to manage changeable weather = Check, Glasses/Shades for looking intelligent/cool = Check, Cat in a Basket = Check
I had to plan my outfits very carefully to enusre I only took minimal necessary items - there was no way I wanted to pay any baggage excess to Easyjet. I wanted something suitably relaxed but feminine so the floral dress with little denim waistcoat and jacket was perfect. There is a nice black lace detail on the floral dress which you can just see in the bottom photo and the waistcoat has a gorgeous crochet back. Ultimately though the whole outfit would have been nothing had it not been for my specs, the borrowed boots (thank you Suzy) and the stolen cat which was quite possibly the best accessory I have ever found.

29th April 2010

Just arrived back from Cannes where I sepnt 2 weeks working (and generally looking bit sweaty and rubbish) and now jetting off to Amsterdam to celebrate Queens Day and my birthday with good friend Amy who shares the special day. First stop first was hairdressers though for a blow dry so let's ignore the alice band which does not really work with this outfit. I love a pair of white jeans and animal print - maybe I was influenced by South of France style. It's all a bit Liz Hurley on paper but I think it's saved by the lilac socks which are my new favourites.
