Bunny had a shock when he arrived home from work to find me sunbathing in the garden. I've wanted to be a red head for years (big Karen
Elson fan while growing up) and had made a secret pact with myself that once my braces were off I'd do it. I forgot to mention that in last post - braces have gone so already every outfit looks better as I now have a smile I can bare to properly share. I had not really planned to go red on this day but my hairdresser persuaded me so I thought what have I got to lose. I do love it but I'm not sure yet if it's here to stay
long term. My fringe needs to grow a little to start with and also managed to lose a chunk of eyebrow which might be cool with the kids but not so cool with me.
The sunglasses are my 'Wang' sunnies according to Bun. Alas they are actually Whistles not Wang. I think the black frames work with the red hair better than they would with brown.

Being a red head has meant not too surprisingly ransacking my wardrobe to establish what works best colour and style wise. The red really makes my blue eyes stand out more and blue clothes work really well. It feels a safe place to start so here I am in a little denim look stretchy dress from Whistles. Clearly having a melt down as I try to absorb more of the light into my hair to keep it shiny.
Currently I'd like this style of dress in every colour possible and it would become my wardrobe staple - seeing me through from day to night and season to season as I add tights or flip flops or boots etc. I like the idea of having a capsule wardrobe consisting of one style but I know as soon as I did that I would start to crave sequins, fringing, lace and ruffles.
